How scoring works
Every score traces back to your evidence.
We don't score against a model's general world knowledge. We score against the specific passage from your specific document — and we'll show you exactly which one.
1. Upload evidence
Drop in policies, SOPs, contract templates, governance memos. PDF + DOCX. We never train on it.
2. Chunk + embed
Each document is split into ~800-char passages and embedded with Cohere multilingual (EN + AR aware).
3. Retrieve top-12
For each question, the 12 most-relevant chunks are pulled via cosine similarity over the HNSW index.
4. AI scores
Our scoring model reads question + rubric + chunks, returns a 1–5 score with a rationale that cites chunks by ID, or refuses when the evidence is insufficient.
5. Verifier checks
An independent verifier model checks every citation. If a claim isn't in the chunks, the score is rejected — better silent than wrong.
Defensible by construction
Every AI score on the platform links to the exact evidence chunks it cited. Click any score and you see the rationale, the chunks, the source documents, the page numbers. Your QA team can audit it without rerunning anything.
Verified, not just generated
Our scoring model produces the first-pass score. A separate verifier model independently checks every claim against the cited chunks. Ungrounded scores are rejected outright — the platform says "insufficient evidence" instead of fabricating a number.
